Camping in Devon
Camping in Devon is a fabulous way to get back to nature and enjoy the beautiful countryside that this part of the West Country has to offer. We have camping to suit everyone, from unique camping holidays in a pod or a shepherds hut, to a more traditional, five star family friendly touring park.
Cosy couples getaway: The Shepherds Hut at Higher Bodley Farm in North Devon is a real 'getaway from it all' treat. Set in its own field with no neighbours and glorious views to Exmoor, it is quiet, peaceful and perfect for couples wanting a corner of the countryside all to themselves. This is luxury camping - comfy double bed, cosy woodburner, and just a short walk along a well-lit path is your own well-equipped kitchen and wetroom. Sit back and relax on the terrace and watch the incredible starry skies at night, and wake to the sounds of birds, wildlife and farm animals in the morning. Heaven!
Cool camping for the 21st century: Discover at the Quarry Pods of Dunsdon Farm, a 54 acre working farm near the North Devon coast and Cornish border. Nestled in the farm's historic stone quarry are five camping pods (two pods that sleep 2, and three family pods that sleep 4), each with its own private washroom next to the pods. If you are looking for camping in comfort, this is ideal - each pod has double glazing, sheeps wool insulation and an electric heater to keep you cosy, as well as mains electricity, lighting and a cool box. They can even provide a bed. Dunsdon Farm is great for discovering wildlife, exploring the countryside and learning more about farm life.
Luxurious five star camping: Close to the South Devon coast near Dartmouth, Woodlands Grove Caravan and Camping Park is in a fabulous location in the heart of the South Hams. Spacious pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, set on terraces with glorious views across magnificent countryside. Immaculate facilities, on-site shop, cafe, evening takeaway, every luxury the modern camper asks for. Families can stroll to Woodlands Family Theme Park - children have endless fun at the Farm, Zoo and Falconry Centre, as well as in the playzones, massive indoor play centres and family rides. Outside of school holidays, this is a great base for adults holidays exploring the coast and countryside, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Totnes.
