Newquay

Newquay is the surfing capital of the South West . Situated on the North coast of the Cornwall, Newquay boasts some of the best beaches in the country and has an array of activities on offer for the visitor.

As a dynamic resort Newquay has lots of things to see and do. In the town centre, there are a host of restaurants, souvenir shops and sports shops catering for all interests. Otherwise head to some of the many attractions nearby: Newquay zoo, Waterworld and Blue Reef Aquarium.

Experience some of Newquay’s famous surfing scene and head down to Fistral beach where many contests are held and where you can learn tosurf with some professional tuition. If that sounds too much like hardwork, then sit in a deckchair at Newquay Harbour and soak up the sun.

Alternatively head to Lusty Glaze or Holywell Bay further up the coast. There are many great coastal walks both setting out from Newquay or by travelling a bit further afield e.g. Bedruthan Steps.

By night, Newquay offers an ample amount of entertainment with a good selection of pubs, clubs and a host of restaurants and inns that provide for all budgets.
