Frome markets have everything you could possibly desire, from local fruit and veg, to vintage fashion and contemporary jewellery. Well known for having a huge variety of markets throughout the year, Frome markets are the among the best places in Somerset to discover local producers and artisans. Here are the five best Frome markets that take place regularly throughout the year.

Frome Independent Market

Frome Independent Market - Snowdrop Cottage

My absolute favourite of the Frome markets! Known locally as the Frome Independent, it is a bustling pop up market on the first Sunday of the month between March and December. Expect delicious local produce, hugely talented makers and vintage finds. Check out my visit here

Frome Farmers Market

Award-winning Frome Farmer’s Market is held on the second Saturday of every month and is one of the largest farmers’ markets in the South West. It’s an amazing place to discover fantastic tasting local food and drink, including meat, cheese, fruit and vegetables. Check out other great farmers markets in Somerset here.

Frome Vegan Market

Somerset’s first regular vegan market, the Frome Vegan Market is held on the first Saturday of the month. Discover an amazing variety of vegan food, drink, clothing and cosmetics throughout the year, not just during Veganuary! If this 100% vegan burger from Got No Beef is anything to go by, your tastebuds are in for a treat!

Magpie Market, Frome

Contemporary and vintage jewellery, gifts and handmade crafts abound at Frome’s Magpie Market. Held on the first Sunday of the month from March to December alongside the Frome Independent Market, in the Cheese and Grain venue.

Frome Flea Market

Every Wednesday at the Cheese and Grain, come and discover pre-loved items including a selection of vintage collectables, jewellery, films and books.

You can find all the latest markets, including times, dates and venues, on the Discover Frome website.
