Off a pretty country lane, down a long drive, Hendra Paul Cottages are very peaceful and the ideal get-away-from-it-all holiday, without being too isolated.
Wild Flower Cottage (sleeps 2 +cot)
A lovely 4 poster bed and en suite Jacuzzi bath makes Wild Flower Cottage ideal for honeymoons. There is room for a cot or fold down chair bed for a small child. Handcrafted kitchen and large beamed lounge/dining room leading to private garden with view of the valley.

Badger’s Sett Cottage (sleeps 2 to 4)
The former milking parlour and dairy, Badger’s Sett Cottage is all on one level, great for couples or a family with one or two children. Master bedroom with king size four poster and charming twin room with antique walnut single beds.
Spider’s Web Cottage (sleeps 4 + cot)
The beautiful Art Deco ‘spider’s web’ window lights up the hallway, open beams in the spacious lounge and kitchen/dining room. It sleeps two in a king size bedroom upstairs, with an ensuite, and two in the twin bedded room downstairs, by the second bathroom. The small third bedroom, downstairs has a cot, for a baby.
Barn Owl Cottage (sleeps 6 + cot)
Gather round the fabulous 19th century refectory table for proper family mealtimes together or relax in the spacious lounge with vaulted beamed ceiling. Barn Owl Cottage has a double bedroom and a single bedroom downstairs and the same upstairs, so it sleeps from 2 to 6 people.
You are very welcome to book some or all of our cottages if you are a large group. We can accommodate up to 20 guests + 3 cots. While we love having bridal parties staying with us, we don’t allow stag or hen parties.
What’s nearby Hendra Paul Cottages
You can walk around our 54 acres where you’ll be able to see the sea and Newquay Bay (we are one mile from the sea as the seagull flies), as well as badgers, foxes, rabbits, pheasants and numerous species of birds. The farm dates back to the 1500s and is now home to a horse livery yard.
Follow the stream along the Porth Valley to sandy surfing Porth Beach (just 20 minutes walk). Our favourite beach, Watergate Bay, is only 10 minutes drive away, as are Fistral Beach and Newquay town centre.
All the main towns in Cornwall are easy to reach from Hendra Paul Cottages. Tourist information and details of all the lovely pubs and restaurants in the local area are in each cottage. St Columb Minor is less than 5 minutes drive and has a village shop, fish and chips, village pub, Co-Op and post office.
Just 20 minutes walk along the stream from popular Newquay beach, Hendra Paul Cottages are set in 54 acres of former farmland and offer real olde worlde charm, with vaulted ceilings, old beams and four poster beds, as well as beautiful grounds to explore.
