Mudgeon Vean Farm Gold award 4 star cottage and three 3 star holiday cottages are in an idyllic location near Helford on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall.

Set in a quiet and peaceful location, the ideal place to unwind with beautiful scenery and some fantastic beaches within a 15 minute drive. You will be able to capture sunsets that rival the Mediterranean, with dramatic skies and clouds that travel swiftly across the miles of countryside.

Spacious, stylish Valley View is a 4 star Gold Award holiday cottage sleeping 4 + cot in 2 bedrooms (king size double and a twin that can be zipped together). Great extra touches including underfloor heating and iPod dock.

Relax on the patio and watch the evening sunset and wonderful views over the valley. The little wooden bridge over the stream takes you to the playground and playing field. The indoor games room with table tennis and pool table will keep older children entertained.

Mudgeon Vean Farm’s three 3 star cottages (Badger, Swallow and Swift) all sleep 4 + cot in 2 bedrooms. Badger Cottage is the largest and has lounge with woodburner, kitchen diner, shower room, double bedroom, bunk bedroom and garden with built-in barbecue.

Swallow Cottage has an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with log fire, bathroom, double bedroom, bunk bedroom and patio.

Swift Cottage has an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with log fire, double bedroom, bunk bedroom, bathroom and patio area with built-in barbecue.

Mudgeon Vean Farm has its own private woodland bursting with seasonal wildflowers and is bordered by a beautiful National Trust footpath to the Helford Estuary. It is also home of award winning Helford Creek Apple Juice & Cyder. Discover Daphne Du Maurier’s Frenchmans Creek, the pretty village of Helford and wonderful beaches are just 10-15 minutes drive away from Mudgeon Vean Farm.

Mudgeon Vean Farm is an 18th century family farm on Cornwall’s Lizard peninsula. It produces award-winning apple juice and cyder – available to buy from the owners – and boasts pretty self-catering cottages with a large outdoor children’s play area, games room and stunning woodland walks.
