Set in idyllic Cornish countryside between Looe and Polperro, Polean Farm Cottages offer seven charming, quality holiday cottages just two miles from a safe sandy beach and a mile from the local pub and shops.
Whether you are searching for a fun family holiday or a relaxing rural retreat, Polean Farm Cottages is the perfect destination for couples, families and larger groups to experience all that Cornwall has to offer.
All of the cottages have been converted from the original farm buildings, which date back to the 18th century. They are full of character and a comfortable home from home for you and your family. Polean Farm Cottages are open all year and in winter you can relax in-front of a log fire in one of the cottages or in one of the cosy local public houses.
The children will enjoy the playground, indoor playroom, giant trampoline and the toy tractors that they can ride around the courtyard. They will also love helping us feed the animals each morning (all year round) and look forward to the daily pony or tractor rides around the farm.
Stay at Polean Farm Cottages from the beginning of March until the end of May and children can help feed the baby lambs as part of the free animal feeding with farmer Keith each weekday morning. Plus by then we will have some new baby piglets plus baby chicks to help feed and hold.
Polean Farm is a working livery yard with over twenty horses. You are welcome to wander around the livery yard and the fields to see the horses and our other animals.
Enjoy peaceful walks across the farm and beautiful countryside, and along the stunning coastline (designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from Looe to St Austell). Visit nearby beaches, fishing villages, and our many local attractions.
Polean Farm Cottages are seven self-catering cottages on our family-friendly working farm, located near Polperro on Cornwall’s south coast. There’s plenty on hand for children to do, including tractor and trailer rides, a play room, trampoline, and the chance to visit the animals.
