Trenake Manor Farm is a gorgeous 4 star Gold bed and breakfast on our working dairy farm in Cornwall.

A real farmhouse bed and breakfast, Trenake Manor Farm has three traditionally furnished bedrooms, full of country charm, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. All accommodation is situated in our 15th century, Grade II listed farmhouse. The guest sitting room has a roaring wood burner on chilly evenings, TV, antique furniture and comfy sofas.

Bedroom 1 is a twin room with a lovely window seat overlooking our horses in the meadow, sun terrace and fields. In Bedroom 2, you can lie in the extra long, 6’9” bed and watch the cows meander past the walled garden on their way out into the fields after morning milking. Bedroom 3 is a lovely light and airy room overlooking the courtyard and across our fields to the village beyond.

The spacious, ensuite bedrooms at Trenake Manor Farm have an elegant king-size Victorian-style bedstead, flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi, electric blankets, tea trays and hair dryer.

Your breakfast is cooked to order in the Aga in the traditional working farmhouse kitchen, and served at your own table in the cosy dining room.

The house is set in large, mature, well kept gardens, with tables and chairs, wooden sun loungers, and barbecue on the sun terrace. Take afternoon tea in the gardens or just sit and relax.

Our 300 acre farm has been in our family for the past 5 generations. We have 320 Holstein/Friesian dairy cows which are milked twice a day at 4.45am and 2.30pm, producing 3,000,000 litres of milk a year.

Our historic farmhouse, parts of which date back to the 13th century, was once used as a monastery for monks fleeing King Henry VIII during the dissolution of the monasteries. We have been taking bed and breakfast guests since the 1940s, and today many of our guests return year after year to enjoy all that South East Cornwall has to offer.

Trenake Manor Farm is situated halfway between the historic fishing ports of Looe and Polperro, just 4 miles from the coastal path with it breathtaking scenery and the famous Eden Project is only 20 minutes away. Our nearest village is Pelynt, which has a lovely pub serving good food, large shop with post office, garage, hairdressers and much more.

We offer B&B for your horses in our lovely traditional old stables. There is also the option of turnout, and grazing. We can arrange for you to go on long hacks all off road, trekking on the moors, or have a private lesson nearby.

There’s plenty of history at Trenake Manor Farm, a working dairy farm that used to be a monastery and now offers 4* Gold bed and breakfast accommodation in the Grade 2 listed farmhouse. A guest lounge with log fire is a great place to relax, and stabling is available too.
